Zermatt Arms ORIGIN s/a  is a friendly priced custom action that utilizes many features included in the TL3 and SR3 line of actions.
– Swept bolt handle
– Remington style feed lips (compatible with AICS magazines and hinged floor plate designs)
– Pinned 20 MOA rail
Zermatt Arms ORIGIN s/a features the same footprint as a Remington Model 700 s/a action to allow for easy installation into most stocks and chassis as well as utilizing the same trigger configuration as a Remington Model 700. ORIGIN is threaded to the same spec as standard Savage small-shank threads allowing for Savage pre-fit barrels as well as the option of the classic shouldered barrel.

Couple it with one of our  Prefit Barrels for a complete barreled action!

FAQs:

TL3’s have an integrated recoil lug while Origin’s use a non-integrated, pinned recoil lug. Origin’s are also cut with standard Remington 700 feed lips while TL3’s have the option for AICS or AW magazine wells as well as the option for single shot receivers. TL3’s have options in tang thicknesses (3), rail incline (3) and different bolt/ejection port combinations while the Origin is offered with a trim tang, 20 MOA rail and only right or left hand short actions.

Short actions weigh in at 28 oz. and long actions at 31 oz.
